| The Eagleson Institute, founded in 1989 by The Baker Company President Dennis Eagleson, is a nonprofit foundation in Sanford, Maine, with a mission to promote the principles and practices of laboratory safety. Through seminars, conferences, videotapes and Web-based software, the institute provides education and training on topics ranging from certification techniques to safety cabinet technology. The Eagleson Institute also awards scholarships and sponsors lectures.
